Maine Health - Here Through It All
Here Through It All is a commercial spot I shot for the Maine Health Cancer Center at the very end of 2024.
Conceived by the great folks at Words From The Woods, directed by Wes Sterrs, the spot was shot almost entirely in the first person,
point of view perspective. With these kind of POV concepts often the camera is mounted to a helmet and worn by the talent who plays double duty, not only acting in character but also operating the camera. In our case, our talent wasn't able to wear a helmet rig for the duration of our shoot.
Thus, we had to develop a system to allow myself to operate the camera around the talent.
This helped to free our lead to focus on acting and gave the camera operation and control back to myself.
The result was an ultra-wide grip set paired with an industrial easy-rig support system on a dolly.
I called it the "stink bug". See some BTS images below.
