Lahnah - Raunchadelic
One of my favorite productions of the last year was this backwoods folk horror number
with the experimental punk rock trio Lahnah, for their track Raunchadelic.
We got to do a lot of fun builds for this one, with a mixture of studio and on-location photography.
We did a poor-mans process at Maine Studio Works for the majority of the driving scenes.
We built up a few spinning branch rigs, pumped the room full of fog, and bounced that pick up truck the whole night.
We did one driving truck shot, mounting the camera on the roof of the truck barreling down a dusty dirt road.
The final cut and a solid team to get us there made those long chilly nights all worth while.
Thanks to Wes Sterrs for nightmaring this one into existence and for the band and the amazing crew that made it a reality.
